What to expect from your Guitar lessons at Empire Music Tuition .



Perhaps more than any other instrument, the structure of individual guitar lessons at Empire Music Tuition is constantly evolving to meet the varied requirements of students. Lessons are tailored to each student's needs and goals which can cover topics such as:

>specific acoustic guitar or electric guitar practices and techniques
> reading music notation
> reading from tab
> playing along with CDs and backing tracks
> soloing techniques in a range of styles ( blues, jazz, rock..)
> progressing through the CPM grades (a derivative of The Australian Music Examinations Board).
> songwriting techniques specific to guitar
and many more.

Lessons can be a half an hour or an hour in length. All lessons are “one on one” with student and teacher although you are welcome to arrange a joint lesson with a friend or family member. There is an acoustic guitar which can be used in the lessons if you are unable to bring your own although you're encouraged to have your own with you.
